Fleet FAQ
The fleet includes E-Class, S-Class and V-Class vehicles. Selection depends on the journey, desired presentation, passenger and suitcase numbers, and the available class.
Both E-Class and S-Class are specified for up to three passengers and two suitcases. Oversized items or several large pieces of luggage should be described separately.
The V-Class is specified for up to seven passengers and seven suitcases. It is particularly useful for families, small groups, delegations and airport journeys with additional luggage.
The E-Class is the standard Business Class option. The S-Class places more emphasis on a representative arrival, while the V-Class is often more practical for several business guests or extra luggage.
For up to three passengers and two suitcases, E-Class or S-Class may fit. The V-Class should be considered for more suitcases, additional guests or oversized luggage.
You may state a preference for E-Class, S-Class or V-Class. The final arrangement considers passengers, luggage, occasion and availability.
The S-Class is intended for journeys where comfort and presentation matter particularly, including executive guests, business arrivals and special private appointments.
The V-Class works well when several people travel together, the route includes multiple pickups or more luggage is involved. An unused seat does not automatically mean there is enough luggage capacity.
FRALIMO uses well-kept Mercedes-Benz vehicles and prepares them for the relevant journey. Any specific equipment requirement should be requested and checked for availability.
Report additional suitcases or oversized luggage as early as possible. FRALIMO can then check whether the requested class still fits or whether a V-Class would be more suitable.
Mercedes-Benz vehicle classes
The FRALIMO fleet includes Mercedes-Benz E-Class, S-Class and V-Class vehicles. The choice follows the occasion, desired presentation, number of passengers and luggage — not the model name alone.
The E-Class serves as Business Class for corporate journeys, city travel and private transfers. The S-Class is the First Class option for representative arrivals, VIP guests and special occasions.
Both limousines are specified for up to three passengers and two suitcases.
The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is the Business Van for groups, families, delegations and journeys with more luggage. Its stated capacity is up to seven passengers and seven suitcases.
This makes it practical for airport transfers, hotel pickups and shared trade fair rides.
The request records passengers, suitcases, route, occasion and specific requirements. The suitable available class is then coordinated.
Every class can be requested for personally chauffeured journeys, business travel, events and private bookings. Vehicles are cleaned and prepared before use; the FRALIMO service approach explains the standard behind that preparation.
Section 21 of Germany's Road Traffic Regulations generally requires a suitable child restraint for children under 12 who are shorter than 150 cm. FRALIMO therefore asks for each child's age and height before confirmation so the restraint, seating and vehicle class can be clarified appropriately.
For one or two business guests with limited luggage, the E-Class is often practical. The S-Class places greater emphasis on a representative arrival. Groups, families and delegations gain more seating and luggage capacity from the V-Class.
Suitcase count is particularly important for an airport transfer; several classes can be combined for trade fair and event travel.
An unused seat does not automatically provide enough luggage space. FRALIMO therefore asks for both passenger and suitcase numbers. Oversized or additional luggage should be stated explicitly.
The published guidelines are three passengers and two suitcases for E-Class or S-Class, and seven passengers plus seven suitcases for the V-Class.
In the ride request, select point-to-point or hourly service and add route, time, passengers and luggage. A preferred class can be entered; final allocation depends on suitability and availability.
Corporate travel also benefits from invoice details and a named contact. The page on planning a business travel day explains further workflows, while recurring requirements can be discussed through the company service.
An ADAC crash test found that an unsecured 20-kilogram suitcase can produce an impact force of up to one tonne in a 50 km/h crash. FRALIMO therefore records passenger numbers, suitcases and oversized items separately. We use those details to select a vehicle class whose designated luggage area can safely accommodate the declared load.
The E-Class covers standard business and private journeys, the S-Class emphasises a representative arrival, and the V-Class focuses on group and luggage capacity. The suitable class follows the use case rather than a simple hierarchy.
Clients may request E-Class, S-Class or V-Class. The class is coordinated after passenger count, luggage, occasion and availability are checked, ensuring that the preferred vehicle also fits the practical journey.
